Fed: Fiji Gov't delays meeting as aid assessment continues

The Fiji government has delayed a meeting to assess aid requirements in the wake ofdevastating cyclone as emergency teams warn up to 20,000 islanders may need emergencyfood.

Islands in the north and south of Fiji were lashed by Cyclone Ami earlier this week,with winds levelling houses and plantations, and whipping up deadly tidal waves.
